The Lambda quadruplets. These things are EVERYWHERE. Followed closely by the Yukon/Tahoe and the W-Body Impala. Seriously, if these vehicles were suddenly banned from Kentucky roads, there would be about 75% less traffic.

Yawn. The SUVs are all soccer moms and the Impala is a fleet special that people buy used with high mileage at buy here pay here lots so they can feel like they have a “new” car even though they have no business having a car payment of any kind.

The F-150 is the most popular truck, but only by a small margin. We love us some GM here in western Kentucky. Buy ‘Murican. Even if it’s manufactured in Canada or Mexico...

I’m surprised there wouldn;t be more Toyotas, since Toyota does have a factory in that state.

I’ll never not be shocked that you can still by a W-body less than a year old when my car is a W-body from the first Bush presidency.

When I shadowed at a dealership a few months ago, the only thing we worked on was Lambda crossovers. I was there 6-7 hours and the only thing we worked on that wasn’t one was an Equinox.

GM could sell those damn things with slight variations for 20 years and people would still buy them. Hell, they're 10 years old at this point and sales aren't slowing down at all.

Toyotas are more prevalent in the bigger cities (Louisville and Lexington). In fact, the Camry plant is in Georgetown - which is close to Lexington. There are plenty of Camries locally, too.

The Lambda quadruplets are just gussied up station wagons.

Indeed. My coworker has a 2013 Traverse and I am wholly unimpressed with everything about it.

A friend of mine recently bought an Acadia, no joke because his daughter’s name is Acadia. The seats are nice and comfy but everything else is cheapcheapcheap. So much cheap plastic, poorly fitted panels and all. But yeah the seats are comfy, though I've only sat in the front passenger seat.

Tell him to be ready to replace the transmission. Unless GM has fixed that in the newer ones. Everyone I know with an Acadia (for some reason they have the most problems of the Lambdas) has had a transmission crap out on them.
